Gwent League Fixture 4

Short of numbers but the Cardiff met contingent that traveled to Pontypool Park for the 4th race of the 5 race series delivered with all 3 athletes finishing in the top 10. Several tough climbs and sharp turns gave the athlete’s a course completely different to last week at BUCS Cross country championships. In the junior women’s race Emily Chandler produced an outstanding performance for 9th place. In the Senior Men’s race Jake smith (Pictured) with his highest performance of the series coming home for 4th place and Ciaran Lewis closely followed in 8th place. Well done to all involved and thanks to Phoebe Marsden for being team cheerleader for the day. The next fixture will take place at Blaise Castle, Bristol on the 3rd March.
