Tue, 29th Aug 17We’re delighted to announced almost 150 athlete entries for the opening of our new Cardiff Met Cyncoed track.

We are in the process of looking at the potential of splitting the long jump for those long jumping only (6:30pm start) and those running the 100m going at the original (7:15pm start) This is dependent on confirming enough officials. If you are an official and would like to support please email [email protected] .
The evening activities will start at 5:45pm with the formal introductions the grand opening, and we’re delighted Colin Jackson and Jamie Baulch are in attendance. They are joined by our event ambassadors; Aled Sion Davies, Jake Heyward, Becca Chapman, Jordan Howe, Tom Marshall & Ieuan Thomas. Plus many other great guests of the university.
